We are Pat & Julie and have been together since the end of 2014. We have been hosting our own events since the beginning of 2021. We’re parents, professionals, sports obsessed, travel gurus, lover of games, slight foodies, and fond of making new friends! Pat and I love helping others to have a safe space to be themselves without judgment. We’re super outgoing and always want everyone to have a good time! Welcome to the flamboyance flock!!

What is the closest airport to the main venue?
Norfolk(ORF)
This is about two hours away from the home.
Where do I stay if I don't get a room at the main venue?
We will be posting close by Airbnb's, VRBO's and hotels - all under a five minute drive to the home - on our private Facebook page.
What are the days for the guests staying in the main venue?
Friday, September 29th to Monday, October 2nd
Is there anywhere off limits in the main venue?
We will have signs on the paid bedrooms that are always off limits, unless otherwise noted by those guests and we will show you where you can and cannot go during the house tour.
What do I bring with me to the two party nights?
We ask that everyone bring at least one bottle/case of alcohol. We will have a sign up sheet in our private Facebook group for paid guests attending the event.
What is included in the September party tickets?
Bartenders, jello shots in syringes, late night food, personalized name necklaces, daytime pool party with icebreaker games, use of: hot tub, pool, movie theater, elevator and more listed on our private Facebook page!

What do we expect at these events?
Delivering Impactful Experiences
Our biggest rule is respect. We strive on making others feel comfortable and getting to know one another! We always play icebreakers - where we set up *optional* get-to-know-you games! Any disrespect of boundaries will NOT be tolerated. We generally enjoy the music, eat some snacks, chat with others, vibe to music, etc! How do I dress?
Exceptional Looks
We will always post ‘themes’ shortly after we announce the next dates for an event! This is *optional* but many people enjoy participating in dressing up! This can be for men or women and you can dress in whatever makes you feel best — whether that be something casual or dressy! (Heels on hardwood are okay!) There is always a prize both nights awarded to the best dressed person that goes with our theme of the night!
Is alcohol provided?
Every Detail Matters
In the past, we have done BYOB and it works perfectly. We have guests sign up for what alcohol they’d wish to bring - prior to the event - on our private FB event for paid guests, only. The bartenders then put these behind the bar for a ‘communal pot.’ If anyone wants to keep their drink private - this is doable and you can simply inform the bartenders! You do not have to pay the bartenders because they are being paid by the hosts - but tipping is always encouraged and their Venmo code will be up! They work hard to keep our guests happy and everyone’s thirst quenched!
Can I stay at the venue?

We make announcements of event dates very early on and try to give everyone enough time to plan accordingly! We have children and full-time jobs and understand how difficult it can be to plan ahead. If you are one of the first group of people to opt in for a room at the venue - you stay with us all weekend! As soon as the venue rooms are paid and full, we will do our very best to help provide you with a close by hotel/VRBO/AirBnb etc! We will have a spot for shoes and coats and bags etc to go, if you are a guest not staying at the venue! It would be ‘leave your items at your own risk’ but - if anyone feels uncomfortable leaving something out - they can let us know & we will put it in our room.
Where are these events generally held?
Enjoy the Moment
We keep these events on the East Coast! We rent out large AirBnb’s or VRBO’s for the party weekend! Our biggest thing is for people to use their common sense. We expect good ratings from the home owners, so that we can continue to rent out future event spots and we expect the home to stay how we found it! We have rules we wish for everyone to follow and do not take them lightly; we also don’t ever anticipate issues because we always have a wonderful group of guests! The rules will be found in our private Playful Alliance Facebook page, as well as all the rest of the information!!
Is there a way to get an idea of which other guests are attending?
In The Know
Once paid, we will add you into a private Facebook group for party guests only. We also have a private signal chat (an app you can download) where only paid guests are given the link to join! This helps others get to know future guests a little more and feel comfortable seeing who is attending! These are optional and we understand some people prefer to stay private, but it definitely helps you to get a better feel of the vibe.
